5 Ways to Build Parent Involvement in Schooling
- Make sure you child knows that you expect him or her to graduate from high school and talk about your expectation frequently.
- Encourage your child to attend school regularly and to do his or her best.
- Attend open houses, conferences, and other school events when possible.
- Get to know you child’s teachers and let them know that you want to work together to ensure your child’s success.
- Celebrate school milestones, progress, and success.
